These terms and conditions set out the basis on which Apex Roofing ("we", "us", "our") provides roofing services to you and on which you may use our website at apexroofing.ie. By requesting a quote, accepting our quote, or using this website, you agree to these terms. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish law.

Quotes and estimates

• Quotes are based on the information available and, where relevant, an inspection of your roof. Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days.
• Some defects only become visible once work begins (for example rotten timbers or hidden water damage). Where additional work is needed, we will explain it and agree any extra cost with you before continuing.
• A quote becomes a binding agreement once you accept it in writing, by email, or verbally and we begin work.

Pricing and payment

• Prices are as set out in your quote. For larger jobs we may ask for a deposit or staged payments, which will be agreed in advance.
• Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed other terms in writing.
• We will always confirm accepted payment methods when we agree the job.

Carrying out the work

• We will carry out the work with reasonable skill and care, using suitable materials for the job and the Irish climate.
• You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and the work area. Please let us know in advance of anything that may affect access or safety.
• We will leave the site clean and tidy and remove waste related to the work on completion.

Variations and additional work

If you ask for changes, or if we find issues that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of quoting, we will discuss them with you and agree any change to the price or timescale before proceeding.

Timescales and weather

We will give you an expected timescale, but roofing work is weather-dependent. We may reschedule work where it is unsafe or impractical to proceed, and we are not liable for delays caused by weather, supply issues or other matters outside our reasonable control.

Guarantee

• Our workmanship is guaranteed. The length and details of the guarantee for your job will be confirmed in your quote or invoice.
• Materials are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty where one applies.
• Our guarantee does not cover damage caused by storms or extreme weather, structural movement, lack of maintenance, alterations or repairs carried out by others, or issues with parts of the roof or building outside the scope of the work we carried out.

Insurance

Apex Roofing holds public liability insurance. Details are available on request.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Where we have already incurred costs or ordered materials specifically for your job, those costs may be payable. Consumers may have additional cancellation rights under Irish and EU consumer law.

Liability

• We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
• We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, for damage arising from the condition of the building outside the scope of our work, or for indirect or consequential losses.
• Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Use of this website

The content of this website is provided for general information about our services. While we keep it as accurate as we can, we do not guarantee it is complete or up to date, and it does not form part of any contract until confirmed in a written quote. The website, its content, logo and images are owned by us or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent. We are not responsible for the content of any external websites we link to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
